Day 1: Arrival at Yogyakarta – Borobudur
Transfer time from Airport – Borobudur: Approximately 90 minutes by car
Arrive at Yogyakarta International Airport (NYIA). Welcome by our guide. Direct transfer to Borobudur Temple. Free afternoon.
Overnight at Plataran Resort and Villa – Borobudur
Day 2: Visit of Yogyakarta + Temple Prambanan (B)
The morning is dedicated to the discovery of Javanese Culture. You will start with the visit of the Sultan’s Palace or Kraton Yogyakarta. Kraton is the main residence of Sultan of Yogyakarta and his family. Kraton is considered the center of Javanese culture. The Guide will explain you about the culture, philosophy and way of thinking of the Javanese. From 10.00 – 11.30 You can see traditional shows such as Puppets, dance or Javanese music. The Puppet show or what is called Wayang is a traditional show that tells Hindu history, the story of Ramayana and Mahabarata. Afterwards, you will continue to visit the bird market which is very famous in Yogyakarta. You can visit the small Batik workshop. Batik is a traditional fabric of Yogyakarta. It is considered the World Heritage of Humanity of Indonesia.
Afternoon, We will visit Praambanan, The largest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia. Also known as the most exquisite temple. These temples consist of 240 temples. You will find beautiful bas-reliefs of Ramayana and beautiful statues of Trinity Gods.

Day 3: Visit Borobudur and go to Airport (B)

Visit Borobudur Temple in the morning. This monument consists of nine piles of terraces, six square, and three circular, crowned by a central dome called the Stupa. This temple has been decorated by 2,672 bas-reliefs and 504 Buddha statues. The central dome is surrounded by 72 Buddha statues, each seated in a perforated stupa. It is the largest Buddhist temple in the world and one of the most important Buddhist monuments in the world. Built in the 9th century during the reign of Shailendra Dynasty, this temple is designated with Javanese Buddhist architecture, the blend of indigenous Indonesian ancestor worship and the concept of attaining Buddhist Nirvana. Return to the hotel for breakfast.
Late afternoon, transfer to the International airport to take the return flight.
