How to get there?
The Dieng Plateau is located in Wonosobo, approximately 150km from Yogyakarta. You can take a bus from Yogyakarta towards Magelang and then continue on to Wonosobo via Temanggung. Once you arrive in Wonosobo, you can take a local minibus to the Dieng Plateau. The journey will take approximately 7 hours.
If you prefer a more relaxed experience, you can hire a private driver who will take you directly to Dieng, approximately a 4-hour drive.

Dieng is a new tourist destination. You can stay in the town of Wonosobo. There are several 3-4 star hotels in town. Alternatively, you can stay in guesthouses with beautiful views of the terraced vegetable fields and the Sindaro and Sumbing volcanoes.
