DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN YOGYAKARTA
Arrival in the morning at Yogyakarta International Airport. Welcome by our French-speaking guide. We leave for the village of Semawung, about 30 minutes by car. You will have a Welcome lunch featuring traditional cuisine from Tumpeng, a mountain of rice and home-grown vegetables.

DAY 2: VILLAGE VISIT AND COOKING CLASS
After breakfast, we will discover the daily life of the people and take a walk in the rice fields, visit a primary school and return to the House to do the cooking class. You will have lunch of what you will have cooked with the mistress of the House.
In the afternoon, you can take a scooter ride to explore the village, experience local activities, and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

DAY 3: WALK IN RICE FIELDS – BOROBUDUR
After breakfast, direct transfer to Selogriyo-Magelang region, about 1h30 drive from Yogyakarta city to visit Selogriyo village. We will accompany you to do a short hike through the village and the beautiful rice terrace fields. It is a good discovery and meeting with the locals in their daily life. In the afternoon, you will go to visit Borobudur temple. Borobudur is one of the most visited temple in Indonesia. It is considered the largest Buddhist temple in the country. Borobudur was built in the 8th century in volcanic stones.

DAY 4: YOGYAKARTA + PRAMBANAN TOUR
After breakfast you will go to Prambanan to visit the largest and most exquisite Hindu temple in Indonesia. It was built in the 9th century by the Sanjaya dynasty. This temple consists of 240 temples in total. It is dedicated to the trinity of Gods: Brahma, Wisnu and Shiva. On the temple, there are bas-reliefs of the story of Ramayana which you can see in the dance show near Prambanan.
After visiting the temple. You will return to Yogyakarta to visit the Sultan’s Palace or also called Kraton. Kraton is the main residence of Sultan or King. The visit will show you the Javanese life, philosophy, and architecture.
And then, you can continue to visit Tamansari or the former Sultan Water Tower. This complex has been broken and we still have some parts like the gate, some swimming pool, the hidden mosque, and an underground passage. In the afternoon, you can visit the bird market and the Batik industry, the traditional fabric of Indonesia and the silver workshop.

Transfer to Tugu Yogyakarta Station.
