Day 1: Welcome to YOGYAKARTA
Arrival at Yogyakarta Airport. Welcome by our representative who will accompany you to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure

Day 2: SULTAN’S PALACE – PRAMBANAN
- The morning is dedicated to exploring the city of Yogyakarta. Taking a Becak (local three-wheeled pedicab), you will visit the traditional market with fresh vegetables, fruits, and colorful local spices. You will continue your discovery along Malioboro Street, lined with colonial-style buildings. Next, visit the Sultan’s Palace, or Kraton, the main residence of the Sultan of Yogyakarta and his family. The Kraton is considered the center of Javanese culture and offers a great opportunity to learn about the culture, philosophy, and way of life of the Javanese people.
- Continue your visit at the bird and small animal market.
- To learn about Javanese culture, we will accompany you to visit a Batik workshop.
- Next, we will take you to one of our friends who lives near the Prambanan Temple. We will organize a local lunch with a host family. It is an encounter with the daily life of the Javanese.
- You will continue exploring the Prambanan and Sewu temples, which are part of the same temple complex, built in the 9th century.th century by the Sanjaya Dynasty, Prambanan is known as the largest and most exquisite Hindu temple in Indonesia. This temple consists of 340 temples of which the three main temples are dedicated to the Trinity of Gods: Brahma, Wisnu, and Shiva. At the Shiva temple, you can see the bas-relief of Ramayana.

Day 3: BOROBUDUR + ALUN-ALUN
- After breakfast, your guide will accompany you to visit Borobudur in the Magelang region. The monument consists of nine terraced levels—six square and three circular—crowned by a central dome called the Stupa. It is the largest Buddhist temple in the world and one of the most important Buddhist monuments globally. Built in the 9th centuryth century during the reign of the Shailendra Dynasty, this temple features Javanese Buddhist architecture, blending indigenous Indonesian ancestor worship with the Buddhist concept of attaining Nirvana.
- In the afternoon, we will accompany you to visit the traditional gold and silver craft workshops of Yogyakarta, known as Perak Bakar. You will also visit Alun-Alun, the grand square at the Sultan’s Palace, famous for the traditional game called Masangin.

Day 4: NGLANGERAN – CETHO TEMPLE
- After breakfast, transfer to Wonosari for a scenic hike on the ancient Nglanggeran Volcano, offering breathtaking views. You will pass through a narrow pathway between two massive rock formations. If you’re lucky, you might encounter some monkeys along the way.
- In the afternoon, transfer to Mount Lawu to visit Cetho Temple. Dating back to the 15th century, Cetho was built by a king of the Majapahit Dynasty, the last Hindu kingdom of Indonesia. The temple offers a stunning view of terraced vegetable fields.
- This region is also renowned as a center for the cultivation of vegetables, tea, rubber, and clove trees.

Day 5: TAWANGMANGU – MADAKARIPURA – BROMO
- After breakfast, embark on a long transfer to Bromo through the beautiful Mount Lawu region, then take the highway to cross East Java, passing by rice fields and teak forests. After reaching the city of Probolinggo, continue along the mountain road to visit Madakaripura Waterfall. You can enjoy a refreshing dip in the natural pool (so don’t forget your swimsuit and sandals).
- Check in to the hotel in the village of Cemoro Lawang, the closest village to Bromo.

Day 6: PENANJAKAN – BROMO – KETAPANG
- Departure at 3:00 AM from your hotel, transfer by Jeep for approximately 45 minutes to Mount Penanjakan, the highest viewpoint offering a spectacular view of the vast caldera and its active volcanoes. Penanjakan is the best spot to witness the sunrise over Bromo.
- Take the Jeep again to the Tengger Caldera, where you will begin the trek to Bromo. You also have the option to ride a horse.
- Return to the hotel for breakfast, then continue the journey toward Ketapang.

Day 7: TREK IJEN – PEMUTERAN
- Departure at 4:00 AM, transfer by Jeep for approximately 1.5 hours to Paltuding to start the Kawah Ijen trek. If you wish to witness the sunrise or see the blue flames, an earlier departure is required. After a 1.5-hour hike, you will reach the edge of a large crater lake with stunning turquoise waters. Kawah Ijen is the largest sulfuric lake in Indonesia. Every day, hundreds of people collect sulfur blocks from the crater early in the morning.
- Return to the hotel.
- Take the ferry to Bali and transfer to Pemuteran about 30 minutes.

Day 8: FREE DAY IN PEMUTERAN
- Free day in Pemuteran. You can relax at the hotel or take a walk around the area, or request a traditional Balinese massage at your hotel. If you wish, we can also arrange snorkeling at Menjangan Island to explore the marine life and beautiful coral gardens (optional).

Day 9: BANJAR – GITGIT – ULUN DANAU BERATAN – MUNDUK
- After breakfast, drive about 1 hour to the village of Banjar. Banjar is a small village famous for its natural hot springs. You can take a relaxing soak to unwind after active sightseeing. The Balinese often come here to enjoy the hot spring pools, which are said to be beneficial for health and relaxation. (Don’t forget your swimsuit!)
- Next, continue to visit the beautiful Gitgit Waterfall located in the village of Munduk. This village is well-known for its clove, cocoa, and coffee plantations. You will also find locals selling packets of spices. If you wish, you can enjoy a swing with a stunning view of the waterfall.
- In the afternoon, you will visit the Ulun Danu Temple on Lake Bratan, a temple dedicated to the Goddess Sri, the consort of Vishnu. Ulun Danu is one of Bali’s major temples and is highly appreciated by local tourists. It remains an unmissable landmark in Bali. You can then continue to visit the Candi Kuning Market, renowned as a center for fresh vegetables and tropical fruits.

Day 10: MUNDUK – SEKUMPUL – KINTAMANI – UBUD
- After breakfast, transfer to Singaraja, a city in northern Bali, to visit the beautiful Sekumpul Waterfalls, which means "several." Locals often refer to them as the Seven Waterfalls. Sekumpul is located in a hidden, scenic area that is rarely visited by international tourists. You will need to make an effort to reach the base of the waterfalls by descending hundreds of steps. However, you will be rewarded with stunning waterfalls where you can take a refreshing swim. Don’t forget your swimsuit and towels.
- In the afternoon, transfer to Kintamani, a beautiful mountainous region on the edge of the Batur caldera, offering stunning views of Lake Batur and Mount Batur. If you wish to do a sunrise trek to climb Mount Batur, you will need to stay one night in the village of Kintamani to be closer to the volcano (Please contact us for details).

Day 11: TIRTA EMPUL – GUNUNG KAWI – PAINTING GALLERY
- After breakfast, visit Tirta Empul Temple, which means “holy spring water.” Here, you will find freshwater springs that never stop flowing, even during the dry season. The waters of Tirta Empul Temple are considered sacred, and many Balinese come daily to perform purification ceremonies. You can participate in this ceremony if you wish, wearing the traditional attire. Nearby, you can also see the Presidential Palace of Indonesia, as the first President, Soekarno, was of mixed Javanese and Balinese heritage.
- Continue your visit to Gunung Kawi Temple in Tampak Siring, built in the 11th century as a mausoleum for King Udayana and Anak Wungsu. To reach the temple, you will descend hundreds of steps, passing through stunning terraced rice fields and along the scenic Pakerisan River. These temples are intricately carved into the rock. Along the way, you may also encounter local artisans working on coconut and animal bone carvings.
- At the end of the afternoon, visit an art gallery.

Day 12: TEGALALANG RICE FIELD + MONKEY FOREST + UBUD VISIT
- After breakfast, you will visit the village of Tegallalang, renowned for its stunning terraced rice fields. These iconic rice terraces are often featured in various Bali travel guides. You can stroll through the fields to take photos and interact with the locals. For an extra thrill, you can enjoy a swing overlooking the beautiful terraced landscapes.
- Then continue to visit UBUD: Ubud Palace, the residence of Ubud king which was built in 1800 during the period of King Tjokorda Putu Kandel.
- Next, continue to the village temple, or Pura Desa. You can also visit the Sacred Monkey Forest in Ubud, located at the end of the main street.
- Return to the hotel.

- After breakfast, transfer to Padangbai port to take the speed boat to Gili.
