West Bali

West  Bali is a part close to Java island.  From Ketapang harbor (Java) to join the Port of Gilimanuk You may  go  by Ferry and than continue to nord costal Pemuteran and  Lovina.   Not far from Lovina, You can visit Balinesse village of Munduk and the Git-git waterfall, Lake of Buyan, Tamblingan and Bratan, The beautifull temple Pura Ulan danu  Bratan,  Temple watu Karu,  Rain forest Tamblingan,  Rice terrasses filed of Blimbing and jatiluwih.

This part of Bali is a little bit abandoned. There are not many tourist came here. But you could visit Pemuteran, the seaside station to go diving at a smaller island called Menjangan and have a tour in the National Park of west Bali. Lovina the seaside station village in the north of Bali offers you the chance to meet a dolphin from a wooden boat. From Lovina, you could visit a Buddhist temple, the hot spring of Banjar, a beautiful waterfall called Git-Git.

Munduk is a village close to the lake of Buyan, Tamblingan, and Bratan which is known as the center of Balinese coffee, cacao, and clove.  You could enjoy the visit to Munduk villageto see the rural Balinese life and beautiful water fall.  You could also enjoy taking a walk in the forest of Tamblingan, canoeing, and visiting a beautiful temple near Lake Bratan. From Munduk to go to Ubud you could pass Jatiluwih, the beautiful village with the terraced rice field or you could take a walk through the small route to see the real Balinese life.

Tanah lot is a magnificent temple on the seaside of the southern sea. This temple is  an image of Bali according to Indonesian Tourist. It has been well appointed as one of UNESCO World Heritages since the site has been able to maintain the local culture heritage in form of water irrigation system managed traditionally called by SUBAK. It is one of recommended places to visit in Bali with the beautiful view as according to its name from Jati and luwih, where Jati mean really and Luwih meaning especial, good, and beautiful or the equivalent.
