Ramayana Ballet Yogyakarta

Ramayana dance or Ramayana Ballet is one of the most famous dance performance in Yogyakarta. It tells the story of Rama and Sinta, a tragic love story from Hindu religion. Sinta is kidnaped by a Giant called Dasamuka and Rama, her spouse, is trying to take her back with the help of the White Monkey King, Hanuman. The story carved in the wall of Prambanan temple in Yogyakarta. Prambanan is one of the must visit site in Yogyakarta. There you can see the relief of Ramayana in Brahma and Shiva temple.

If you want to see the performance of Ramayana Dance in Yogyakarta, there are two options. First, you can see it in Ramayana outdoor theater near Prambanan where you can have the temple as the background of the performance. Second, you can watch in indoor in Purawisata with a smaller scale. Outdoor temple has the background as the benefit but the show is not available every day. While, the indoor stage, don’t have the privilege of the temple but they held the show every night.

La danse Ramayana ou le ballet Ramayana est l’une de performance de danse la plus connue de Yogyakarta. Il raconte l’histoire de Rama et Shinta, un histoire d’amour tragique de la religion Hindou. Shinta est kidnappée par un géant s’appelle Dasamuka et Rama, son épouse essaye de lui sauver avec l’aide du Roi du Singe Blanc nommé Hanuman. Le récit de Ramayana est sculpté sur le balustrade du temple de Prambanan à Yogyakarta. Prambanan est l’un de site que vous devez visiter à Yogyakarta. Le bas-relief se trouve sur le temple Brahma et Shiva.

Si vous voulez voir la performance de Ramayana, vous avez deux choix de place. Vous pouvez le Ramayana en théâtre en plein air près du temple Prambanan où vous pouvez avoir le temple comme le fond. Vous pouvez aussi voir le Ramayana au théâtre intérieur à Purawisata sur le centre-ville de Yogyakarta. Dans le théâtre en plein air la performance est tenue à l’occasion, tandis que dans le théâtre intérieur il est tenue tous les jours.
