“Bromo and Kawah Ijen are the two actifs volcanos in East – Java. We can organize this trip from Yogyakarta by train  to Surabaya in the morning than continue by private car to Bromo. This transfer by train are more comfortable and faster than all by car”.

DAY 1: SURABAYA – BROMO

Arrive at Surabaya by train or Plane and get a warm welcome from our guide/driver. Continue to Cemorolawang Village, from Airport for 4 hours approximately. It is possible to see a volcanic mud which comes out to the surface in 2006 and has never stop. You could also visit the Pasuruhan Port to see the Phinisi Ship which transport logs from Borneo and products from Java. Check-In to your Hotel.
Afternoon: free and easy  program in your hotel or short walk in around Hotel
Overnight at Lava View Bromo or similar

DAY 2:  PENANJAKAN – BROMO -KETAPANG

Transfer by Jeep for about 45 minutes to Pananjakan to see the sunrise with a magnificent view of the Grand Caldera and the actives volcanoes. After taking some pictures, the Jeep will take you to the base of the caldera to climb up for 45 minutes walk to reach the top of Bromo. You may go by Horse (extra charge).  Return back to the hotel to have a breakfast before the departure to Ketapang. You can visit Madakaripura Waterfall before going to Ketapang. Leaving from Hotel at 09.00 to go to Ketapang / Banyuwangi by north coast of  Pasir Putih (White sandy beach)  where you can stop for lunch and relax….

*Alternative: you could stay at a very simple Hotel at Sempol near the coffee plantation. Sempol is nearer to Paltuding, the departure point of Kawah Ijen’s Trek.

DAY  3: KETAPANG – KAWAH IJEN – BALI

Transfer by Jeep to Paltuding to begin the trek to Kawah Ijen for 3 hours roundtrip. Kawah ijen is a beautiful volcanic lake with sulfur stock where hundred of people take out the block of sulfur from the crater.  The best moment to see Kawah Ijen is in a dark where  you will see the blue fire. One of two places in the world where the blue fire existed.  After, transfer to Ketapang harbor to take a ferry that will take you to Gilimanuk, Bali.

The Driver takes you in differents destinations as described in your program Itinerary but He can not give you an explication as a Guide.
